Since moving to Nashville in 2009, Guy Gilchrist has established himself as one of the city's most exciting performers, singers, and songwriters. He has played many of the city's finest clubs and honky-tonks, written with some of its best writers, and shared stages with Charlie Daniels, The Marshall Tucker Band, Wet Willie and Tommy Cash. But there's much more to this talented storyteller and all-around entertainer. Since 1995, he has been the cartoonist behind Nancy, the classic comic strip followed by millions daily in nearly 400 newspapers. His other syndicated comics have stretched from The Muppets to Today's Dogg. His 48 children's books include Night Lights & Pillow Fights. His work is featured in the Smithsonian, and he has been a Guest Of Honor at the White House. Blessed with a thunder-tinged baritone, a poet's heart and a stage presence reminiscent of many of his classic country heroes, he is a one-of-a-kind entertainer.
